Freshman Design Project:
Worked with a group of fellow freshman students at NMT to design and test an articulating snake robot using entry-level knowledge. Our design used nitinol wire actuation through the use of electrical excitation to trigger the wire to retract. We used concepts of biomimetics to determine the optimal way for snake actuation and assembly.
